A well-installed heat pump keeps your Lordship, CT home warm in winter and cool in summer, all from one efficient piece of equipment.
Rather than generating heat, a heat pump moves it — which often makes it a more energy-efficient option than traditional heating equipment, especially in milder climates. We look at your home's insulation, current ductwork, and typical seasonal temperature swings to figure out whether a heat pump is a good match.
If your home doesn't have ductwork, a ductless mini-split heat pump can deliver similar comfort year-round through a different kind of installation.
We size the system to your home's square footage and its specific heat loss and gain profile — an undersized or oversized heat pump will struggle to hold a comfortable temperature once the weather turns extreme. We also review your electrical panel, since heat pumps come with particular power requirements.
Being upfront about timeline, equipment choices, and what performance to expect helps you feel confident in the system you're choosing.
Our crew sets up the outdoor and indoor units, runs refrigerant lines, and connects everything to your thermostat and any existing ductwork. Before we consider the job done, we test the system in both heating and cooling modes to confirm airflow and temperature control are performing as expected.
Once it's installed, we'll go over how to get the most from your new system, including thermostat settings that keep it running efficiently all year.
Today's heat pumps are built to handle a wide temperature range, and we'll help you pick a model suited to Lordship, CT's climate.
Most residential installs are finished in one to two days, depending on your home's ductwork and electrical setup.
In many homes, yes — a single heat pump system can cover both heating and cooling needs throughout the year.
